Perhaps the safest choice, especially at smaller caf s, is freshly caught fish. The park was the first natural region in the eastern syracuse hancock international Caribbean to be listed as a World Heritage Site by the United syracuse hancock international Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It joined a list of other outstanding heritage locales in the Caribbean, including three sites in Cuba (Old City Havana, Trinidad and the Valley of the Ingenious, and San Pedro de la Roca Castle); the Colonial City of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic; the Citadelle sans Souci and Ramiers in Haiti; Willemstad, Inner City and Harbour in Cura ao; and La Fortaleza and the Historical Site of San Juan in Puerto Rico.
On the way down, your gondola will be high enough to see over the trees to the Caribbean Sea and catch glimpses of 4,600-foot Morne Micotrin and 3,683-foot Morne Anglais. Enjoy a cool drink on the shaded patio or pick up a souvenir at the gift shop after your tour.
