An excellent drift dive is along the wall off Anse La Raye. Brightly colored fire coral is found at shallow depths, and huge boulders cluster on a slope below the wall. Turtles are often spotted in this area. Wreck divers enjoy exploring Lesleen M, a 165-foot freighter that was deliberately sunk at Anse La Raye in 1986 to create an artificial reef. Soft corals, sponges and hydroids harbor juvenile fish at depths of 30 to 65. The freighter sits on an even keel in sand, and the hold and engine room are accessible.
